Behind The Façade: Bath's Backstories & Backstreets Walking Tour Experience
Step away from the madding crowds to encounter a very different, and rather more intriguing, side to Bath. Delve deeper into its past and beyond the surface to uncover a wealth of stories, people and places that most visitors, and many locals, unwittingly pass by.
Venture beyond the typical tourist treadmill as one of a handful of travellers led by an engaging local guide, to enter tiny shops to meet world-renowned experts, encounter artisans producing exquisite crafts using techniques perfected over centuries… Uncover hidden gems, coded symbolism and step away from the bright lights of Georgian Bath to explore its darker underbelly. Encounter some of the incredible women to whom Bath was home, and whose intriguing stories have often been buried with them. Enjoy refreshments in two unique locations and create new friendships over coffee and tea and a relaxed stroll through a small, but oft-forgotten part of Bath.
