Stonehenge & Secret Somerset

What we do is unique. What we do is much more than a tour. We create personalised, immersive journeys for world-curious, discerning travellers looking to connect with the past and discover authentic England.

Our Stonehenge and Secret Somerset tour combines a visit to one of the most iconic ancient structures in the world with a journey into 'secret Somerset', to discover stunning countryside, sleepy villages, tiny backroads and more. We visit Stonehenge first thing in the morning where you'll enjoy a personal, guided tour, before heading off the well-worn path and into 'hidden' England to experience country lanes, curious sheep, and a stunning countryside and wood before stopping for a fabulous lunch in an atmospheric country inn. We'll spend the afternoon exploring villages, churches and an ancient ruin (April to November) and learning of the local stories that bring these places to life.

Finally, we'll finish the day with tea in either a lost English walled garden or, depending on the weather, a 700-year-old country inn burdened with old tales of its own.

What we do is much more than a tour. What we do is unique.

We create personalised, immersive journeys for world-curious, discerning travellers looking to connect with the past and discover authentic England.

Each tour is carefully researched and designed to allow you to go beyond the ordinary and connect with the history, stories, experiences, places and people that make our country so special.

We get you off the beaten track, away from the well-worn tourist experience, to drive through ancient woods, across stunning landscapes, and deep into the countryside. We deliberately don't tell you everything about where we go, what we'll do and what you'll see - it's part of the magic!

We take care of you from the moment we collect you from your door to the point we drop you back again. Relax, enjoy, engage and immerse yourself in the experience. As our guest, we’ll share with you the best of our cuisine, artisans, pubs, hidden gems and elusive delights we locals treasure but few outsiders discover.

Our guides are different too. We are a 'people-first' company that puts the values of integrity, honesty, kindness and the desire to serve at the heart of everything we do. We choose our guide on the basis of the kind of people they are. They are warm, intelligent, compassionate and communicative people who share our ideals and vision. They are critical thinkers, curious about the world and enthusiastic about sharing their passion for England with you, our guests. Seeing your delight is what makes it magical for us too!
